September 20 & 27, 2019
Man. This month waw no bueno. Never missed two Fridays in the same month, but some unexpected travel got in the way big time. I'm just gona highlight some of my favorites from the past couple of weeks, running from the top to the bottom. You can check out the playlist here.

-
One of the hottest tracks of the summer season got a disco'd up remix, with the ever vibey Purple Disco Machine taking on Roberto Suarce's 'Joys'.
-
Manila Killa dropped a deluxe edition of his latest EP, 1993 and has a couple of interesting dark edits that channel major ZHU vibes.
-
Dom Dolla gets filthy on 'San Frandisco'.
-
pluko released a remix that's a bit of a departure from some of his more recent work, but I find myself liking it more each time I listen. Check out his remix of Tycho's 'Skate'.
-
Cassian just doesn't quit. This time, the prolific Aussie beatmaker dropped a new one with ZOLLY titled 'Magical', and that it is.
-
Flume released his munch anticipated new original 'Rushing Back' featuring the talented Vera Blue. A performance of this from Red Rocks has been floating around, and you can check it out here.
-
Kaskade dropped an interesting new original that's a more down temp record than he usually takes on. 'No One Else' with TELYKast feels more like track you'd hear out of Foreign Family or bitbird than Kaskade, but I'm on board for this sound.

September 6 & 13, 2019
I missed last week because I was quite literally off the grid on a backpacking trip. To make up for it, this week we have a double dose of music with 45 all-new bangers. There are a ton of great tunes in this one ranging from left-field electronic vibes out of Duskus, DROELOE, and Sebastian Paul, big tech-house sounds from Secondcity and Huxley & Jacky, and deeper cuts from ARTBAT, the Rufus remix pack, and Superflu with a whole buncha music in between.

Let's ride.

-
I kicked off the playlist with a new one off the much-anticipated Bag Raider's album Horizons. I've dropped a few of their recent singles ahead of this bad boy, and have had the album on repeat. Really stoked for these guys to tour around this album. Quality electronic jams from top to bottom.
-
Next up is the Hot Since 82 remix of 'Another Life' off Rufus's three-part Solace Remixed album. I included a few remixes in here, including ones from Justin Martin, Edu Imbernon, and TERR. I fucking love the execution of this remix pack. For anyone who has seen a Rufus DJ set, all of these tunes reflect the vibe they curate and are clearly intended for use across their sets. I still get chills thinking of when they dropped Cassian's remix of 'Treat You Better' at the Do Lab. If you're a Rufus fan, do yourself the favor of checking out this entire collection of absolute heat.
-
Speaking of Cassian, he's gone and done it again, delivering yet another quality remix. This time he takes on 'Listen To Me' from Bob Moses and its a proper slap.
-
Up and comers Forester released their debut album Kerosene on Lowly, and if you're into vibey indie electronic, you'll definitely fuck with this.
-
Hot on the heels of signing with The Shalizi Group, Alesso joins with fellow roster mate SUMR CAMP on an absolute vibe of a track that I can't get out of my head entitled 'In The Middle'. I'm hoping this helps elevate SUMR CAMP to the next level.
-
Dropping down the playlist a bit, Romare released an 8-minute long tune that once again shows his unique flair and approach to electronic music. I'll be checking him out at Sound in LA next week.
-
Another super unique track follows this one up - 'Purple Hat' from Sofi Tukker. It honestly took me a few times to figure out if I even like this track, but with each listen I inevitably find myself gettin into the groove.
-
The bottom half of the playlist is all new music out this week. Some of my favorites include the latest original from Tinlicker & Thomas Oliver 'Need You', Sevader's remix of POOLCLVB's 'Space', a new one from The Knocks who enlist the vocal talent of Gallant on 'Exit Sign', and the Ferreck Dawn remix of Micahel Calfan's 'Wild Game'.
-
The last handful of tracks are all deeper cuts, with new ones from Nora En Pure, Jacques Greene, Lauren Lane, Johannes Brecht and more.
