Late, but just in time for the 4th of July weekend. And since I will be fully off the grid in the Canadian wilderness, I wanted to space things out a bit as I'll have no way to update this bad boy Friday. Expect the next new drop Monday.
This week, things kick off with some upbeat summer tunes that get progressively bumpier before a little chilled out break with some funky, deeper cuts, and an eclectic handful of tunes to round things out that pick up the heat again.
-
Cassian is one of my favorite producers at the moment, and I had to kick off this week with a new remix from him I've been waiting for - a big one that tackles Just Kiddin's 'There For You'.
-
Redondo routinely puts out solid house music, and this time he teams up with Rockefeller on a disco-laden single, 'Liberated Woman'.
-
Some other particularly hot tracks at the top - Flash 89 dropped a remix of Aussie live-duo Set Mo's 'Counter Human Emotion', OFFAIAH is back with another disco-tech house remix of Robin Schulz 'All This Love', a remix pack for Diplo's foray into house music dropped and I've included a handful of remixes, and Boston Bun kicks up the funk with his latest single 'Don't Want To Dance'.
-
Kideko leads off some techier tunes, with other new singles from Chris Lake & Lee Foss who team up on 'Lies, Deception, And Fantasy', and Weiss re-released a club edit of his banger 'Let Me Love You'.
-
Things get a bit funkier with Parisian big band Caravan Palace's 'Plume'.
-
One of my favorite producers at the moment and the homie mindchatter dropped another single, 'Kerosene'. It's a mellow, downtempo vibe that fuses his signature vocals and dreamy productions, and one that'll easily make you nod your head. So much more to come from this dude.
-
For the proper ones amongst us, Swiss production duo Adriatique released their latest EP, X. The three track endeavor is a swirling, brooding experience akin to their live shows that have truly marked them as leaders in the underground. I included 'Craft' and 'Love Modules'.
-
Lindstrøm and Prins Thomas keep things proper with their remix of 'Nothing But You' from Bob Moses.
-
The playlist closes out with a handful of nudisco and tech house tracks.

Enjoy.
June 14 & 21, 2019
I was off the grid last Friday, so this week we've got a double dose of tunes. I've included 40 new tracks ranging from chill summer ready vibers to peak hour heavy hitters. Let's get to it.

-
I wanted to start off with some mellower Summer ready vibes. The first 10 or so tracks fall into this category, including new ones from Elderbrook, a Channel Tres remix of Toro y Moi, Coeo, Hayden James (who dropped a longggg awaited album), and another new one from Flume who continues to make genre pushing electronic music.
-
SG Lewis, purveyor of major vibes, is here with his new EP Dawn. The EP follows a string of big singles and caps his 3-part EP project, Dusk, Dark, Dawn. This dude is mega talented and continually drops sexy, atmospheric beats the have shot him to the top of the dance world.
-
Things pick up with an Axwell cut of Redfield's 'Don't Worry'. Not a big SHM guy, but I've always made an exception for Axwell. Things stay hot with new ones from Kyle Watson, a KC Lights remix of MK's 'Body 2 Body', Agoria, and more.
-
Max Styler has been dropping some seriously unique and heavy tracks, and his latest EP Supernatural is no exception. I included 'TiME' and 'SUPERNATURAL', both of which go off.
-
The legend Eric Prydz is back with his latest installment of PRYDA with PRYDA 15 VOL I. If you're a Pryda fan, you won't be disappointed.
-
Andhim is back with a 3-track EP that marks the first release of the year for the German superhouse duo.
-
San Holo dropped his latest single 'Lost Lately'.
-
I could write about any of the last 15 or so tracks. Its a really solid mix of new tunes, and there is a lot of range - from Desert Heat bangers, to laid back jazzy vibes like Quantic's 'Atlantic Oscillations' (which by the way, if you dig that track you should really listen to the whole album of the same name).

Enjoy.
June 7, 2019
This week is pretty proper. A lot of heavier stuff for dance heads, with a few pop-leaning tunes to add some balance. All in it's a solid collection of new tracks. The big news in dance music this week is the release of Tim, the posthumous Avicii album that was allegedly near complete at the time of his passing. I haven't included any material here, but it's still worth a listen for anyone (everyone?) who was a fan of his music.
Now, on to the playlist we go.

-
I love when you come across a brand new artist on Spotify (427 followers at the time of writing) and they end up releasing one of the hottest tracks of the week. On this occasion, that song comes in the form of 'Japanese Journey' from Shuttle. This song is a fucking vibe!! Will 100% be watching this synthmaster extraordinaire. Peep this legendary video he made too.
-
The Magician dropped a remix pack for his latest single 'Ready to Love' with new takes from A-Trak, Mercer, and Aevion. All three are pretty filthy.
-
Camelphat are back with another new original primed for summer dancefloors. The duo from Liverpool team up with Jake Bugg this time on 'Be Someone', a tune that harkens back to their breakout single from two summers back, 'Cola'.
-
Things start to get a bit more spacey with an Alex Metric remix of Big Wild's 'City of Sound'. Hot Since 82 teams up with Jem Cooke on 'You Are the Light' and Made in Paris dropped off a new remix of Luttrell's 'Windowscene', both of which help keep things a bit heavier.
-
The back half of the playlist is an eclectic bunch of artists. Some personal highlights are the Lake Turner remix of 'The Weight' from Weval, Boiler's after-hours mix of Ferreck Dawn's 'In My Arms', a wild new original from Daddy's Groove, and a techno-heavy hitter from Patrick Topping.
-
Also need to shout out LZRD and the team on their latest original, 'In Between'. This one has been in the works for months, and I can't tell you how much work went into getting this bad boy out there. Good stuff boys!
Enjoy.

May 31, 2019
What's up people. It's basically June, so I moved the May playlist here if you were still diggin it. Now onto this month.

My lord is this week a biggie. New albums from TWO LANES, Pluko, and SNBRN as well as some big single releases, including the long-awaited return of Madeon.

-
Up first is a new one from my homie and a truly innovative new artist, Mindchatter. Riding high on the success of his last single 'Tough As Nails' that got the attention of Pete Tong and BBC1, 'Just Gona Exist' is yet another example of his unique approach to funky, downtempo electronic music. Stoked to see much more from him this year.
-
As mentioned, TWO LANES dropped their much anticipated debut album Drifting. The 8-track project features 5 all new ones, and the whole body of work deserves a listen. I included a couple I was vibing with.
-
Up front things tend to stay somewhat mellow, including an epic 9-minute Willaris. K remix of Rufus Du Sol's 'Underwater', a new one off pluko's new album (also worth a top to bottom listen. This kid is mega talented and dropped this one on his new Splendid Society imprint the day of high shcool graduation - aptly titled Class XIX), a new Running Touch single, and a dub re-work of Eat More Cake's 'Memories'.
-
The Picard Brothers are involved with tons of Diplo's music behind the scenes, and their remix of Silk City's 'Missing You' shows why. This track kicks of a bumpier little section that picks up with new ones from Illyus & Barrientos who deliver a teched-up remix of PNAU's latest single 'Solid Gold', Weiss, Block & Crown, and some dark heat from SNBRN on 'Free Ya'.
-
Peggy Gou helps cool things off a bit, and ushers in a section of the playlist with singles from some real heavy-weights, including Madeon who makes a return years in the making, Petit Biscuit who is still rollin, a Rinzen remix of a Lane 8 smash, and another one from pluko.
-
The last 10 or so tracks get proper with a mix of some heavy ones and some proper tech.
This was a really solid week and a perfect way to kick off the summer.
Enjoy.
