Hey Everyone -
This week was a little lite on tunes I'm feelin, but threw in what I could find. Hope y'all enjoy!
-
Kicked off this week with a funky tech house tune from Kideko out on Sonny Fodera's Solotoko. Check out Gonna Be.
-
It's been a few weeks since his last release, but Ricky Retro is back with another heater in his signature country meets bumpy house funkiness. Give Reverse Cowgirl a try.
-
Another new remix out today of Mark Ronson and Miley's Nothing Breaks Like a Heart, this time from Dimitri From Paris. Anyone else feel Miley channeling a little Stevie Nicks on this one?
-
Got a new release out on DirtyBird today in the form of a two track EP from Steve Darko. I threw in both - My Hood and Whistle Work.
-
Tinlicker has had a big 2018, and delivers again with his latest, About You out on Deadmau5's Mau5trap. This one is a bit deeper than some of his other work, but real good nonetheless.
-
Friend Within dropped a housey take of Roll With Me that I'm definitely fuckin with.
Couple other new ones in there for you.

Look out for a "Best Of" drop to kick off next week and close out 2018!

What's up everyone! Happy Holidays to you and yours. This week's update has a lot of disco and house vibes, but a special block in the middle of tunes from my favorite crew of the last couple years, Desert Hearts. Hope you enjoy and have a great holiday! Now to the music.
-
Alex Metric has a new EP out on Anjuna with Ten Ven. If you liked Diplo's Electricity, you'll probably dig this since Alex Metric is who really produced that track.
-
JØRD has a pretty filthy new original out with Move.
-
Kyle Watson has been one of my favorite breakout artists of 2018. The South African DJ and producer has carved out a growly low-end sound all his own, and I hope 2019 is an even bigger year for him. Check out his latest remix of Benson's Faith.
-
OFFAIAH has been making some big moves the past couple months. Im feeling this remix of Hayden James Better Together.
-
Desert Hearts block - if you know me well, I've probably asked you to come to a Desert Hears party with me or urged you to go to one when they hit your city. These dudes throw some of the best parties around, and have cultivated a jungly, upbeat tech house style all their own. Seriously, if you fuck with these tracks, go to one of their parties. The block includes: Memo Rex Light Years, Lubelski & Wyatt Marshall Take a Trip, Matt Tolfrey What to Say, Case of the Mondays Shake It, Gui Costa This Beat, and one more from Lubelski & Wyatt called Don't Hold Back.
-
Following the DH block, the playlist closes out strong with new ones from Mercer, Oliver Heldens, Throttle, Rudimental, Tough Love and more.

Ho ho ho -

What up what up -

New music comin in hot. Lotta house and tech house today. The general flow of the playlist is what I think will be the most popular tracks with the group, then it gets a bit house/tech-housey, with some disco vibes thrown in before getting into deeper cuts at the end.
-
Set Mo is an Aussie act I've been following for a minute now (thx Connor), and they have released Surrender which is almost certainly going to be the intro track for their forthcoming debut album of the same name. Album is due out in February, but this already has me excited. Decided to use their intro as my intro this week.
-
Staying in the land down under, Rufus has a new set of Solace remixes out today. Will Clarke delivers a really solid remix of No Place that feels a tad more dancefloor-ready than the original while staying true to the vocal elements that otherwise define the track.
-
Eastern Odyssey is a mysterious new act who's breakout 2018 has featured 4 EP's and as of today a brand new single, Setting Sail. The whole project is really well branded, and the sound they deliver is consistently fresh, with elements of the far east (hence the name I suppose). I suspect a lot more out of whoever's behind this project in 2019. If you like Setting Sail, you'll love all their EPs.
-
My dude Franky Rizardo drops a funky new tech house remix of Claptone's Abyss of Love. Claptone dropped an entire remix pack today, and I also included Nice7's take on Ain't a Bad Thing.
-
Shiba San has been on fire recently. It feels like there hasn't been a week without a new track. Today he drops off a new one on Lee Foss's Repopulate Mars imprint - which is killing it atm. I also missed this last week, but Lee's other imprint Hot Creations has the number one track on Beatport with Rebuke's Along Came Polly which is worth checking out for the house heads.
-
Few other shout-outs - newcomer Flash 89 has one out on my guy Sonny Fodera's imprint, Solotoko. Also some new tunes from Maya Jane Coles, Maceo Plex, Audiofly, Todd Terry with LEFTWING & KODY, Huxley, and a VIP edit of Matt Zo's wild production Vice.
All around feel like this is a really solid week of new music. Hope you guys agree!

What up what up -
Here's the rundown:
-
Kinda feelin this Black Caviar remix of Shaun Frank's Bon Appetite.
-
Ferreck Dawn has really been on a tear recently. Liking this new one.
-
Big Wild dropped a 3 song EP that's pretty vibey. Heaven is the only new track, and it fits well with the previously released singles.
-
Don Diablo drops a new one featuring Nate Dogg's I Got Love. It's a little cheese, but I got love for Nate so gona include it.
-
Duskus has a new single out on San Holo's Bit Bird imprint. Where to Go has familiar sounds to much of his work from the past year and I dig it.
-
Kasakde has been releasing a lot of new music outside his typical spectrum and continues that trend with a new downtempo track titled On Your Mind.
-
Jack Back, aka David Guetta's tech house alias, is back with another one on Toolroom. While I typically consider Guetta the ultimate lowest form of electronic music, I can fuck with this 4 to the floor stuff.
-
The Knocks and Soffi Tukker dropped a remix pack for my favorite track off their last album, Brazilian Soul. The Walker & Royce edit is pretty furious, per their usual sound

Have a great weekend
